Matt is responsible for the Chicken & Grill concept, covering pubs with reassuring grub and inspirational design concepts. Of course, the quality of our product is so important; our dedicated and talented teams ensure quality is consistently great.

Soon after starting with McMullen's in 2005, it became clear to Matt that McMullen’s was a terrific company to work for, where people believed in ‘doing the right thing’ and everyone cares, really cares!

Life prior to McMullen’s:

The career of Matt Cotter in the hospitality industry has spanned over 20 years and many contrasting styles of business. From northern ‘boozers’ to 5 star hotels and from luxury cruise liners to late night high street bars. Matt joined McMullen’s where he enjoyed five consecutive years of growth at The Peahen as General Manager, before taking the leap into Area Management at head office in February 2011. His passion strives for service and standards, for making guests feel really special.

Favourite menu item:

For Matt the Rotisserie Chicken is a winner as well as a good Bordeaux or Sauvignon Blanc. He is also a fan of our beer battered Fish & Chips and our latest freshly baked Pizzas, washed down with a Camden Hells Lager.
