Highlights of the role:
Sandra has been in her current role since 2001, which includes the day-to-day management of the HR function within the Retail Division, licensing administration and the management of McMullen’s support team. Given such a busy role, it should come as no surprise that every day is different, which can be challenging, but also rewarding.

What makes McMullen’s the company of choice:  

Having been with the company for such a long time, Sandra has seen many changes, but McMullen’s have always put their people first and she is proud to be part of the team who strive to deliver excellent service to their customers, the Area Managers and the teams in the pubs and bars.

Life prior to McMullen’s:

Sandra began shaping her professional career on her 16th birthday, at what is now Glaxo Smith Kline – as a trainee secretary.  After just over two years at GSK, she moved to Nationwide Building Society as a branch secretary in Cheshunt, also working in the Welwyn Garden City and Hertford branches before joining McMullen's in 1982, as secretary to the Deputy General Managers in the Retail Division, and has progressed ever since.
