Previously called the Pheasant (we believe!), the Croc was rebuilt in 1976.
The Crocodile is a truly British pub and favourite with the local community serving real ales, classic pub grub and fabulous Sunday roasts. With a restaurant area, defined bar and private bookable space (inside and out!), the Croc has it all covered for you – and your little munchkins will enjoy the climbing frame too.

Join us this Father’s Day for the kind of roast that brings everyone around the table – crispy potatoes, golden Yorkies, rich gravy and all the trimmings. Pair it with his favourite drink and settle in for an easy, cosy afternoon with the whole family.

Private Hire, Birthdays and Events
Our lovely function room, the Everglades, is available for private hire. We cater for formal dining events, buffets, drinks and nibbles or just drinks, whatever you prefer. The room is completely private, with it’s own bar.
We can seat up to 34 guests for dining, or 60 for less formal events. Larger events can also book the adjoining private garden bringing guest numbers to 100. Our public bar can also be reserved should you require more than 100 guests, or the garden is unsuitable for your event.
Our TV allows you to connect via HDMI for slideshows or presentations. Buffet is available and we also offer unlimited tea and coffee for a small charge.
