The Spice of Life is an institution and has been part of the McMullen family of pubs since 1986, and a boutique hotel since 2025.

Please note: There is no parking at the Spice of Life. The nearest parking is Q-Park Chinatown, NCP London Brewer Street or Urban Parking Shelton Street. Our premises has stepped access and lacks elevators or wheelchair-accessible ramps. Guests with mobility needs are encouraged to consider these limitations when booking.
Being located in central Soho, the wonderful hustle and bustle can sometimes be heard from some of our bedrooms. However, we have taken several measures to minimize any disturbance, including installing secondary glazing, thick pile carpets, and heavy-duty doors to enhance sound insulation.

Private Hire, Birthdays and Events
Our Basement and Pub are both available for private hire. We cater for formal dining events, buffets, drinks and nibbles or just drinks, whatever you prefer.
We can seat up to 75 guests for dining, or 100 for less formal events. For smaller events, you can also book our pub for up to 60 guests.
