McMullens – Highly Commended in Publican Awards
McMullen & Sons have been awarded a Highly Commended certification in the recent Publican Magazine Awards, however they narrowly missed out on scooping Winners prize for the Best Managed Pub Company (up to 99 sites).
Peter Furness-Smith, Managing Director (pictured right), said “It’s so disappointing to have just missed out on the main award but to have been highly commended pays real credit to the company, to everyone who works in our pubs and the support team at Head Office”.
Operations Manager, Heydon Mizon (pictured left), added “Everyone should be justifiably proud of this achievement. We have a wide range of pubs and bars that cater for the local communities in which they operate, but at the heart of all is the willingness of the teams to provide great products in warm and friendly environments”.
