Barperson of the Year 2009
The annual competition to find McMullen’s best barperson commenced with a team building competition at Chessington World of Adventures in early July.
51 competitors, led by Area Managers, gained points by participating in a McMullen ‘flavoured’ trivia quiz, before heading off around the park to collect information and experience the thrill of the rides in aid of their team scores.
The ‘Shooting Stars’ team emerged triumphant, (if a little wet), after a rain soaked afternoon.
‘Despite the weather, we had a fantastic day’ Recruitment & Training Manager, Helen Darracott commented. ‘There was a lot of enthusiasm and commitment from everyone and the broadest smiles despite the rain. As ever, the Operations Team have been wowed with the high calibre of the people who are in contact with our customers on a daily basis’
12 finalists will now be chosen to progress to the second stage of the competition, which is sponsored by S & N Uk Ltd.
