PROPERTY DIRECTOR
Having been born in Stevenage and having lived in Hertfordshire all my life, I have grown up in McMullen country. In fact, my first ever visit to a pub was a McMullen pub, the Three Horseshoes at Hooks Cross (only then it was tiny, with ponies in a field at the side).
I completed my honours degree in Urban Land Economics at Sheffield Polytechnic in 1978, but did not join the company until 1988. During the intervening years, I gained valuable experience in London working for various companies and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1979.
Dealing with a wide variety of different property assets put me in good stead when I joined McMullen. There is always something happening on the property front and our appetite for new pubs and Baroosh bars has not dwindled. We strive to find more sites every year and will give quick decisions on any properties introduced to us.The ability to run a successful department is matched only by the commitment and professionalism of my team.
