

I've always loved food! To work in an industry surrounded by people preparing and serving good food is my idea of heaven. Happily, for the majority of my career, I have been involved in licensed retailing.
I commenced my career in licensed restaurant management, running city centre multi-site outlets in Liverpool, Manchester & Chester. In 1988 I moved to Morland in Abingdon as an Area Manager, before progressing to Operations Manager and ultimately being responsible for a group of family pub restaurants, some with attached accommodation lodges.
I joined McMullen & Sons in 1999, as Operations Manager of our food pubs. In 2004 I became responsible for all of our managed pubs and bars.
My current role is very challenging. I am responsible for finding freehold sites for McMullen & Sons to purchase - in particular for our Quality Dining and Baroosh chains.
