This June, Hertford’s historic McMullen & Sons Brewery is set to host two standout events that promise to delight beer enthusiasts and families alike. Whether you’re a fan of live music, craft ales, or looking for a unique Father’s Day celebration, mark your calendars for a weekend of festivities at the Hertford Brewery.

🎶 Mac’s Beer & Music Festival 2025: Saturday, 14 June

Kick off the weekend with the seventh annual Mac’s Beer & Music Festival, a vibrant evening combining the best of local brews and live performances.

Enjoy a range of contemporary beers from Rivertown Brewing alongside Mac’s heritage ales. Cider, wine, non-alcoholic beer, and soft drinks will also be available.

The Line-Up:

  • The SG’s: A 9-piece reggae band delivering uplifting melodies and soulful covers.

  • Joyrider: An energetic party band with a mix of 80s pop, indie, rock, soul, and disco.

  • Lewis Sycamore: Fresh and uplifting rap songs with heartfelt lyrics.

  • Rob Clydesdale & Rich Hurst: Original songs and covers from a seasoned local musician.

  • Bailezzey: Dynamic rapper blending 90s HipHop, drill, and Afro-beats.

  • Amber-Lilly: Powerful songs addressing mental health struggles and personal growth.

This is a fundraising event, with ticket sales donated directly to charity via the Mac’s Hart Trust, which will top up funds £1 for every £10 raised.

Celebrate Father’s Day with an immersive experience at McMullen’s iconic Hertford Brewery

Guided by the brewing team and McMullen family members, explore the rich history dating back to 1827 and learn about the brewing process.

Free entry to the brewery yard with an open bar, food stalls, and garden games.

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to a charity via the Mac’s Hart Trust, which will top up funds £1 for every £10 raised.

Please note: The brewery yard is wheelchair-friendly with accessible facilities. However, due to the layout of the working brewery, tours are not accessible. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the yard but cannot participate in tours
