The Coopers Arms, a McMullen house since 1887, is located just moments from the town centre on the historic Tile House Street. With added craft beer, cocktails and street food inspired eating, it’s the perfect place to kick back, meet up and socialise, both inside and out.
The beautiful building has been protected for the future but with a nod to today – bespoke artwork, cosy spaces, vibrant feel and social vibe.

This festive season, make the Coopers your go-to spot in the heart of Hitchin. Whether you’re rounding up the office for a Christmas party, kicking off a festive night out or gathering friends for seasonal drinks, we’ve got the vibes, the tunes and the drinks to get the celebrations started.
We’re serving festive buffet packages for group bookings, alongside festive food specials throughout November and December. Add in great beers and seasonal cocktails and you’ve got everything you need for the best Christmas celebration. Parking at the Coopers
We’ve got parking available for our guests and use ANPR cameras to help manage the car park.
When you arrive, please take a moment to enter your vehicle registration into the tablet inside the pub. This helps us make sure genuine guests can park with us and avoids any unwanted parking charges.
