Highlights of the role:
Claire really enjoys of the fast pace and variety of tasks that her role involves. Managing the Marketing for the Retail team requires her to work closely with the Food Development Team, Area Managers, Pub Managers and external suppliers. The challenge to continuously improve the business strategy towards delivering exciting and effective Marketing responses for the various McMullen’s Brands is made all the more enjoyable by the collaborative efforts of her team.
What makes McMullen’s the company of choice:
Claire has been familiar with the McMullen’s brand since childhood, having grown up a short country walk from the Robin Hood & Little John, Rabley Heath. Claire’s love of the traditional country life, coupled with her passion for innovation and modern marketing techniques made McMullen’s the perfect choice for next career move. The challenge of working to keep McMullen’s, a brand with over 190yrs history, current and innovative whilst honouring the wealth of history and heritage was one that she could not resist.
Life prior to McMullen’s:
Prior to joining McMullen’s, Claire achieved a first class degree in Communication and Graphic Design from Portsmouth University as well as an IPM diploma in Promotional Marketing, which she studied for alongside her earlier Marketing Agency work. Since 2010, Claire has built up 8 years’ industry experience marketing for brands such as Stella Artois, Beck’s, Corona, Tesco, Tottenham Hotspur and Red Bull.
