Doug is tasked with overseeing and producing the digital activity from the brewery as well as all of our pubs. To him, taking the lead on a modern direction for the brewery to venture is both challenging and exciting.

For Doug, the company feels like a second family. A close nit team of highly passionate and skilled individuals working together to bring quality product and happiness into the local community as it has done for 190 years.
Life prior to McMullen’s:
Doug has a varied list of skills and experience after leaving university, becoming an Assistant Teacher, Carer, Head Chef, and most recently a Social Media Influencer and Digital Campaign Manager for magazines. The ever changing world of digital is where Doug sees his creativity flourish and passion for beer and real ale makes a brewery the ideal place to work.
