Highlights of the role:  

For Emma, building collaborative relationships with our suppliers, to enable us to grow as a business. She loves looking at up and coming trends in the market, and launching these new ranges into our pubs for our guests to enjoy, is really exciting for her!

Life prior to McMullen’s:  

After graduating from Lancaster University, Emma joined Tesco on a Stores Graduate Programme before moving to their Head Office a couple of years later.  She worked in the Commercial department for 10 years, as a Buying Manager.  Buying trips to Central Europe, Hong Kong & China were a highlight! Emma took Voluntary Redundancy after the birth of her first son, as the time to move on felt right, and after joining McMullen’s she hasn’t looked back.

Favourite menu item:

The Cottage Pie with a cheesy topping at the Salisbury Arms is just delicious; washed down with a glass of Malbec! Heaven!
