Highlights of the role:
For Katherine, having such a varied estate of pubs and hotels, that is continually growing and being invested in, is really exciting from a marketing perspective. It certainly makes her job easier when she has so many fantastic pubs to shout about! She also loves leading her marketing team – who are all great marketeers and seeing them develop within their roles is a joy.

Life prior to McMullen’s:
Katherine achieved a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Nottingham, after which she joined the John Lewis Partnership working in various people management roles. In 2015 she joined Stonegate pub company where she spent 7 years working in a variety of marketing roles. Katherine started with the group in a general brand focused marketing executive role and worked her way up to a specialised marketing role, Food & Drink Marketing Manager for various well known high street pub brands.
Favourite menu item:
Honey, pecan & thyme Camembert and Buttermilk chicken thighs followed by the chocolate & salted caramel slice - delicious!
