Matt is responsible for the overseeing and operations of the Managers and in turn the pubs themselves.

Soon after starting with McMullen's in 2005, it became clear to Matt that McMullen’s was a terrific company to work for, where people believed in ‘doing the right thing’ and everyone cares, really cares!

Life prior to McMullen’s:

The career of Matt Cotter in the hospitality industry has spanned over 20 years and many contrasting styles of business. From northern ‘boozers’ to 5 star hotels and from luxury cruise liners to late night high street bars. Matt joined McMullen’s where he enjoyed five consecutive years of growth at The Peahen as General Manager, before taking the leap into Area Management at head office in February 2011. Matt was promoted again in July 2017 and is now Operations Manager, where he is still driven by his passion for seeing amazing teams deliver great service and making our guests feel really special.
