Highlights of the role: Steve reopened the White Hart as General Manager, and made it a very successful sport and events led pub in the heart of Hertford, which it continues to do now. He then moved onto the King's Reach, part of our Chicken & Grill concept. What he enjoys most is watching and helping others grow and develop around him and working for a family business. While being a GM he has had the pleasure of contributing to 5 of my Assistant Managers progressing to become General Managers themselves within Mcmullen's.

He also has launched a cocktail menu within our Destination brand which is now fully established and part of the brand. Another highlight was helping to build and launch the Mcmullen's app. 

What makes McMullen’s the company of choice: The training and opportunities to progress within the business. Steve himself started as a General Manager for Mcmullen's for just 5 years and now has been able to progress into an Operations Manager.

Life prior to McMullen’s: 15 years of experience in hospitality including clubs, cocktail bars and running events.
