....................

Dear Guests,

As you will be aware, we are in unprecedented times in regard to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and we, at McMullen and Sons, would like to reassure you that we are monitoring and adopting all World Health Organisation and Public Health England advice.

Please take some comfort in knowing that hygiene and food safety has always been paramount to us, which means that we are as well prepared as possible for the actions required.

In addition to our usual operating practices, we have adopted enhanced hygiene procedures including, site deep cleaning, sanitising agents, soaps and gels and increased hand washing. We are also introducing social distancing where possible. All our cutlery and glass washing devices operate at over 85 degrees and we have no shortage of cleaning materials.

Please rest assured that we continue to pay and support our team and are doing all we can to look after our guests and the community in which we operate.

We naturally share your concerns but please be assured that we will do all we can to look after everyone as we face new developments that may occur.

We are asking our guests to please be mindful of healthy practices that they can in turn adopt to protect themselves and those around them.

We thank you for your cooperation and we hope that this goes someway to reassuring you at this uncertain time.

Kind regards,
The McMullen’s Team

Dear guests,

As most of you will have heard already pubs have been asked to close their doors tonight, we will of course action this request and close our entire estate from this evening.

We want to thank our guests for their support over the last few weeks and especially our team for staying strong through this unprecedented time. We do believe that this will be the best choice and outcome.

We are already planning ways in which we can utilise our pubs for the community, and ways we can help our friends in the coming weeks. Please keep an eye on your local pub's Facebook page for more information.

We're proud to have survived 193 years serving our community. Here's to many many more years!

Stay safe, and see you soon.
The McMullen Family.
