Until the early 1900’s, Market Square was dominated by grand old ale houses, some dating back as early as 1643. A McMullen’s pub since 2011, we’re bringing some of this history into the 21st century and giving a second life to one of Stortford’s oldest drinking holes; welcome to The Dogs Head!
We love a really good burger – and ours are unique, tender and fresh, served in an all butter brioche bun and perfected by us for you! Dirty fries, wings, small plates and sharers this is the perfect menu for any social gathering.
Our cocktails are handmade to order and available throughout the week, along with a great range of wines, world and craft beers and a wide selection of spirits.
With a great mix of regular live music and DJ nights, sports shown on a number of TVs around the pub and even a shuffleboard there’s no better place to be in Bishops Stortford. Of course, four legged friends are more than welcome!
