A McMullen pub since 1936, the Peahen was reborn in 2005, with a further refresh in 2024.
Justly famous for great service, delicious freshly prepared food and amazing events. Children and families welcome until 6pm, over 18’s only thereafter.
Designed for grown-ups who love to relax and unwind in comfortable, stylish surroundings while taking advantage of full table service which, for food and drinks alike, is available all day, every day.
Lunch or dinner; business or pleasure, there’s always something that fits the bill – fresh seasonal food, packed full of mouth watering light bites and hearty meals. We have a 1am licence on Fridays & Saturdays, giving you and your friends the chance to enjoy the lively late evening atmosphere of a weekend night in St Albans city centre, without deafening music making conversation impossible!
