I'm part of the Social Specialist family!
Mac’s connection with the White Hart goes back to 1790 when William McMullen, a market gardener and father of our founder, joined a Fellowship Society (a privately organised social security system) based out of the pub. Rather ironically, the Society would fine its members sixpence if they attended the meetings, in the pub, ‘disguised by drink’! William’s great grandson acquired the pub 118 years later in 1908.
Expect a collective of retro décor and furniture including comfy bucket chairs, long sofas, hand painted artwork on the walls, and two masterpiece fireplaces for colder nights. With 9 huge screens including 1 outside and 2 in the barn, we are Hertford’s home of sport. Showing unmissable sport 7 days a week. Our courtyard has been covered to keep the elements at bay so you can enjoy the space all day and night whatever the weather.
Our brand-new electronic darts are available to book in our games room, along with ping pong, beer pong, foosball, pool tables and pinball! Plus, our barn is available to book for your event – perfect for any occasion! It has its own sound system and full light display.
Our menu is all about pizza! Choose from a great selection of toppings, or if you’re looking for something different look at our busting burgers, dirty fries, sharing dishes and some good old pub classics. If its chicken wings you want, we do a Wing Wednesday deal where you can order up to 50!
Eat, drink & enjoy us ‘til late. Expect live music on Fridays and a DJ on a Saturday, Silent disco once a month and seasonal events throughout the year – we get more fun the later you stay!
And most important of all, we are dog friendly!

Our Barn is available for private hire. We cater for formal dining events, buffets, drinks and nibbles or just drinks, whatever you prefer, for up to 150 guests.
