This gem of a traditional pub has been part of the McMullen family since 1877.
Nowhere more clearly can you see why British pubs are loved the world over than at the Wonder – it’s close to the heart of the Enfield community and a real joy to visit.
A traditional two-bar pub offering the finest locally brewed McMullen ales, world beers and hospitality to delight, it offers a roaring log fire in the winter, loads of outside space when weather is kind and weekly live music events in a traditional pub style and setting – they’re very popular, so arrive early!
Resident piano player, Honky Tonk Dave, is here every Sunday to bring a smile to your face and music to your ears.

Private Hire, Birthdays and Events
Both our Public Bar and outdoor marquee are available for private hire. The Public Bar holds up to 50 people, while the marquee holds up to 100.
